Ivan Eftink, Owner
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Ivan operated the family farm with his brother for eight years. Looking for new challenges he accepted a position with a pest control company in 1990. His degree enabled him to be certified quickly and he became fascinated by the business. Most importantly, he determined there were many areas of pest control that could be safer and more efficient. Eager to employ these concepts, Ivan founded Bug Zero out of his garage.
Ivan has served on the Board of Directors for the MO Pest Management Association, including two years as president, and sat on the Commercial Services Committee for the National Pest Management Association. Ivan is currently on the Board of Directors for Associated Pest Control Services and the Springfield Executive Breakfast Club, where he was president in 2007.
As the saying goes, “you can take the boy off the farm, but you can’t take the farm out of the boy.” Ivan spends his spare time working on food plots, trimming trees, hunting, and all things outdoors.
